As a Video Editor – Gujrati at The Better India, you will
- Writing Gujarati Video Scripts
- Edit Videos on Adobe Creative Suite
- Good Camera Presence
- Work on Special Interest Video Stories
- Thinking upon new formats, new series
- Research and Analysis
- Liaison between protagonists and internal video team

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Candidates must have completed Graduation (any discipline)
- 2-4 years of experience in content writing and editing
- Familiarity with writing and editing Essays, Personal statements, Letter of recommendations, Resume/ CV for University Applications will be preferred
- Candidate must have the ability to research the internet for content relevant to university admissions
- Excellent Communication Skills – Verbal and Written Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assist students in writing their Essays/ recommendations and in preparing other admissions/ visa application related material
- Help candidates in creating first draft of their Essays and editing them towards further improvement, suitable for admissions to targeted universities.
- Spend time with students in ideating on essay topics
- Help students introspect on events and brainstorm ideas on how to write their essays, create video content, Resumes, etc as per the requirement of the universities.
- Drafting of well-crafted Personal statements, devising structure with strong vocabulary, revision along with editing to rectify grammatical errors like punctuation, spelling checks, etc. Proofreading, establishing the tone of Personal statement & building outlines.
- Suggest changes/ areas of improvement to students to help them in developing specialized high-quality content according to student profile and experience.
- Edit or rewrite the content from scratch to make it meaningful and align with the required course & university, focus on self-motivation, passion, competence, and potential.
- Deliver high quality, plagiarism free content using different styles- sequential /storytelling within specified amount of time – entertaining suggestive iterations/ changes to be followed by counselors/students.
- Research into news related to university admissions and preparing content/ whitepapers on important/ recent updates
- Send reports and reviews of student progress and performance at regular intervals. Creation of reports and presentations as instructed by the management.
